Recommended ReadingOur typical newsletter theme is to offer our best recommendations on how to bring new business in the door.  We’ve been inspired to move away from the usual approach this month to tell you about a couple of books.

The newest arrival is “Resurrecting Anthony”.  It’s a story of a family.  I am, first of all, humbled by Linda and Tony Cole, a mother and father who, along with their son, Anthony, faced a very difficult challenge.  A challenge that most of us will never even come close to experiencing.  And yet, somehow, this family was able to find the will, determination and courage to keep moving forward.  How they did not give up is truly astonishing and continues to inspire me.  It is an honor to know Linda and Tony and through them to have come to know and love Anthony.

It is my hope that their message will touch you as well.

An earlier publication (2004) was recently recommended by a client.  “Younger Next Year” by Chris Crowley and Henry Lodge is, essentially, a fitness book.  Not the one we probably think of immediately - but one that offers practical, achievable levels of fitness for only the balance of our lives!  Interesting insights into how our bodies can work well, how they can break down and how everything is connected anyway.  The good news for many of us is that we’re likely doing much of what is presented here.  More good news is that this is a good reminder of what we used to do and how to get back to it.  Hey, if you’re over 50 – this is a must read.
